Pixie Hat

This weekend I worked on a little charmer, finishing the flower last night. I pulled it out and started over three times because I am hoping it will fit the cutest little baby girl I know (*wink-wink*) and I was just eyeballing it, without measurements. Smart move, I know.

The yarn is from my {almost out of control} stash I had on hand from previous projects: Vanna's Choice for the hat, and Bernat Softee Chunky for the flower. The hat pattern is still evolving in my brain, but the free flower pattern can be found here. I love the pattern and have used it before for other hats and bags.

hooray, it fits Miss Kori!

I think the hat could be cute with stripes and maybe a fun pom-pom on top. What do you think?

think she likes it??? hmmm...

Love this. Is it crochet or knit? I'm a newbie crochet-er. (See my post her my first completed crochet project.)

Very cute hat! Stripes and pom poms are always a winner for baby hats! I'd buy this pattern!
